I was browsing through Urban Outfitter’s beauty products and came across these ridiculous fake lashes! Pretty awesome right? I’d love to see someone sporting them in Fresher’s week, anyone up for the challenge?

Another awesome video from our friends at WildFox! This AW10 promo video is called “It’s Witchcraft” is directed by David Hache (other credits info can be found on the WildFox vimeo page). And just in case you were interested, the music is “Somewhere” by Dorion feat. B Rad & Jenny. Their site also includes a pretty fun story behind the fall line.

It’s not my style of choice, but it looks like baggy shorts have hit the runway in the form of Prada’s SS11 line. No it’s not the baggy, low-slung and ripped up cargos of the 90′s grunge era or hip-hop generation. yet with tailored classy twist. Besides my reluctance to the obvious wide legged silhouettes, I’m a pretty big fan of the fluid line.

NJAL (Not Just A Label) has launched their new organic, fair trade t-shirt collection. The collection is a collaboration with three design labels (Aoi Kotsuhiroi, Patrick Mohr, and Spon Diogo) NJAL choose specifically for their “sustainable sensibilities and eclectic style”. I also thought the video for the collection looked pretty cool! The shirts will be on sale starting Wednesday, 23rd June 2010, and are priced at £55/€65 each!

Although Vivienne Westwood‘s bondage shorts are fun and adventurous, I have to say I’m not a fan. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for innovation and testing the boundaries, but this particular piece of her Gold Label looks more like a glorified rock climber’s harness than anything else; there’s just too much going on.

Afshin Feiz is a British designer who graduated from the avant gaurd Studio Bercot in Paris. In his earlier years he studied literature at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Since 2004 Afshin Feiz’s fun, flirty and truly exquisite designs have been growing in popularity all over Asia, Europe and North America. I especially love how Afshin Feiz combined light and sophisticated fabrics and shapes with intricate ruffle detailing in his SS09 collection, ‘Sometimes You Just Have To Let Go’. It is romantic and feminine while still complex and engaging. Check out NJAL for more on Afshin Feiz. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!
