Jojo&Malou’s autumn 2009 collection, which can be viewed at their website, follows a similar style of their past collections in ’07 and ’08. Bright colors, and bold patterns in hot pinks, electric blues and vibrant purples fill the runway. The designers first caught my eye with the video of their Spring 2009 Collection at London Fashion Week, youtube video embedded below. Although many of their poke-a-dot and bright pink fabrics intimidated me a little, as my style is more subtle and clean cut, I love the way jojo&malou play on our girl-hood styles. Many of the peices are accompanied with little matching hats that oddly remind me of a little girl dressed as Mickey Mouse.
